OAR: Operation Arboretum Renewal

Operation Arboretum Renewal is a flexible, grassroots volunteer program to maintain the grounds of the beautiful Leila Arboretum and Kaleidoscope Garden. It's an opportunity to contribute meaningful volunteer time by providing tender loving care to an adopted garden space.

In OAR, you'll get to:

accept Adopt a garden of your choice in either the arboretum or the Kaleidoscope Garden.

accept Work in your own group, on your own schedule.

accept Choose a small or large garden.

accept Weed, plant, dig up and complete other meaningful tasks that make a visible difference.

accept Experience the pride and joy of knowing you're helping create a more beautiful place in Battle Creek.

accept Take home extra plants that you divide.

We provide OAR participants with:

accept Bed maintenance plans.

accept Expertise of qualified horticulturists.
