Help Leila Arboretum Society Grow
Leila Arboretum Society
(LAS) is growing and we need your help to keep us branching out to
Battle Creek and its surrounding communities. Without tax-based
funding, we face the challenge of maintaining, improving and
expanding our vision for a greener Battle Creek. Leila Arboretum
Society's unique funding structure is completely supported by
memberships, facility rentals, admissions, gift shop sales, and
charitable donations. This funding allows LAS to reach out into the
community and make it a more beautiful place to live.
Membership
As
a member of the Leila Arboretum Society, you are not only helping to
make BC Green, but you are also giving yourself the opportunity to
meet wonderful people and make lasting friendships. Many of our
members exchange gardening tips, plants and vegetables, share
knowledge and help each other learn more about the wonderful world
of gardening. Whether it's working in the greenhouse, the smell of
flowers or the dirt between you fingers, being a member is both fun
and educational.
Endowment Fund
Only the intrest earned is spent. The amound
donated is invested forever. A special tax credit on the Michigan
Tax-form is given for contributions to endowment funds at
community foundations. Make checks payable to the Battle Creek
Community
Foundation, 34 West Jackson Street, Battle Creek, MI
49017-3505.
